Kiwanis Club of Nevada, Iowa

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to
improving the world one child and one community at a time.

 The Kiwanis Club of Nevada, Iowa was chartered in April of 1972 with 60 members!  Since its conception we have supported Nevada and the surrounding communities in a variety of ways including:

• sponsoring the Central Elementary K Kids, 
• sponsoring the Nevada High School Key Club,
• providing scholarships for students planning to attend post-secondary school,
• contributing to the Kiwanis International’s ELIMINATE campaign,
• supporting the local Community Cupboard and Food at First programs,
• helping with annual events such as Bicycle safety and Halloween Patrol,
• volunteering at Harmony Clothing Closet,
• being the charter organization for Cub Scouts Pack 128 in Nevada,
